I hope the California Cannabis Act DOES go before voters as a ballot initiative, and I hope it passes. Prohibitions, in the past, never work – they just don't, and the only thing it does is enrich criminals and create |more need for prisons – and then citizens wind up needing payday advances for lawyers to defend themselves in court. We should legalize marijuana completely – medical marijuana has benefits, and it's obvious that there's a demand for it – and supply will always meet demand. Not forgetting the idiotic nature of government to tell people what they may or mayn't do within the privacy of their own houses, if they aren't hurting anybody.
