John McCain's capture and subsequent imprisonment began on October 26, 1967. He was flying his 23rd bombing mission over North Vietnam, when his A-4E Skyhawk was shot down by a missile over Hanoi. McCain fractured both arms and a leg, and then nearly drowned, when he parachuted into Truc Bach Lake in Hanoi. After he regained consciousness, some North Vietnamese pulled him ashore, then others reportedly crushed his shoulder with a rifle butt and bayoneted him. Lieutenant Commander McCain was then transported to Hanoi's main Hoa Lo Prison, nicknamed the "Hanoi Hilton".

I think you have missed the point. McCain had enough character and love for you and this country to risk his life for you. He paid a heavy price as all patriots have since the signing of the Declaration of Independence. This is the grit it takes to make hard decisions for this country. Nothing was ever handed to him that he did not earn. The only sacrifice his opponent has made for you is missing a Starbucks stop because he was in a hurry to get somewhere.

I really liked Obama during his speach at the last election four years ago. Even made the comment that he would make a great president back then. Then I learned more about him and that changed my mind.

Obama's only experience was for 143 days as a Senator. His only claim of employment history was that he was an organizer. Hmmmm ... that sounds familiar from back in history. Occupation, painter, really good organizer, gave incredable speeches. Who was it????? Adolf Hitler. If we don't learn from the mistakes of history we are doomed to repeat them..(someone else's quote). It's all about character and who you can trust. Do you want your fourteen year old brother in charge of you? Again, not about age. It's about experience. FYI. It is well known that McCain was a prisoner of war.

Oh what ever people. What's the big deal anyways, so what he was a Prisoner of War. It's not a bad thing nor is it a good thing. This footage came out at this time, just to raise questions about the Presidential Election. I can't believe that people will fall for this "news". Silly if you ask me.

John McCain has given me a little hope in him as a president if he is elected. Being a Prisoner of War, he knows what war is like. Maybe he will get our troops, our loved ones back home soon.

Wow, this is shocking news to me. I wonder why it was kept a secret from the public for so long, and why McCain didn't inform us citizens about his experience as a Prisoner of War. What else is he hiding? Why would this new footage was discovered? Why now? What for?
